Had a nice stay, the room was tidy and comfortable, and the breakfast selection was basic but enough to start the day. The carpet really needed cleaning, though.

I had an amazing 3-night stay in a Beautiful Double Room with Two Double Beds, Non-Smoking. The location was perfect, just a short drive from Walmart and downtown. I loved the free honey buns and coffee available in the lobby every morning, it really set a great tone for the day!

The air conditioning in my room failed multiple times, leaving me sweaty at night. Additionally, the door key would not work several times, making my return to the front desk frustrating. On top of that, I encountered a concerning situation with a homeless individual having free access around the premises via a key.

the convenient central location allowed me to take leisurely strolls to nearby attractions like the beautiful jordan's point park, which was just a short walk away, and the museum of military memorabilia, making my weekend adventures truly enjoyable.

The staff was quite helpful, especially the lady at the front desk who assisted us with additional requests, despite being overwhelmed.

The building itself is quite old, and there was noticeable noise from the hallway and other rooms, which made for a less than restful stay.

The location is very convenient, right off the freeway, making it easy to access Walmart for all essentials. The hotel is also close to historic attractions and Virginia Military Institute, which is great if you're in town for a visit. I appreciated the straightforward amenities available, including free coffee each morning.

Don’t expect any modern amenities, the carpets are older than I am! I almost thought of raving about the breakfast, until I realized a honey bun doesn’t qualify as a meal. I woudl ve been pleased with free coffee if they actually had it in the room, trashy!
